Holiday, Celebrate...

The problem with having a nice holiday is that it doesn't quench your thirst for holidays. Far from it.

In fact it makes you thirsty, hungry too, ravenous in fact, for more holidays, more travel, more time... So we're saving, scrimping and using our trusty credit cards to plan our next trip.

Whilst holidays aren't like they were pre-children (what is?!!), with the 'no worries' approach we could take to whatever time the flight was leaving, and the 'it'll do' attitude towards accommodation, I actually find that having kids does add a whole new adventurous feel to going away.

At Easter in Cornwall the children didn't notice that it was blowing a gale on the beach, that we seemingly were the only family without a wind shield, that the 'brief shower' we were warned of on the weather forecast turned out to be a hail storm lasting an hour - they didn't notice because they were far too busy! Busy building, searching and exploring.

With limited funds, our holidays may not be that exotic, but at least with these 2 adventurers on board, they'll never be dull!
