Great Outdoors

Regular readers will know I'm all for getting outdoors. Writing my article for The Ecologist on a nursery in Scotland where the children play and learn outdoors all day, every day, really got me interested in the concept of ignoring the weather, no actually embracing it (in all it's forms!) and getting outdoors whatever! 


I'll be honest, this summer is really testing this new-found girl guide, hearty approach to the outdoors. But I'm mindful of the "no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing" philosophy, and so am always now on the look out for great outdoor clothing companies. I'm constantly searching online for outdoor kit for both me and the kids and we're now fully kitted with walking boots and rain gear.
